This is the season for large family gatherings. And while it's mostly filled with fun and festivity, it is also a time when flu bugs and digestive problems make their rounds thanks to all the hugging & kissing going on.
But if you are a nursing mother who finds herself battling digestive problems, at least the BRAT (bananas, rice, applesauce & toast) diet is dairy and soy-free. Except for the toast. Watch out for the hidden soybean oil and soy lecithin in most sliced breads!
